This costume was made to order for a client in 2022.

The client requested a simple design in various warm shades of gray, one that would be distinguished primarily by the fabric texture and layered effect rather than by striking cuts or details.

The outfit consists of an undertunic (coarse linen, unlined), a pleated skirt (cotton poplin, unlined), an overtunic (cotton poplin, acetate lining), two large tabards with a matching wide belt (dupion silk, interfacing for added stability, cotton blend lining), and a voluminous hooded cape (coarse linen, double hood).

The costume is primarily fastened with discreet zippers or Velcro closures, with the belt being a combination of Velcro and lacing.
